What you’ll do

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct virtual therapy sessions using a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform, providing evidence-based interventions personalized to each client's needs. Help patients to feel safe, heard, and ensure every interaction is empathic and supportive.
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs with an integrated health lens, formulate diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans with the client and team.
  • Crisis Intervention: Provide timely crisis intervention services, including risk assessment and safety planning, for clients experiencing acute mental health crises.
  • Ethical Practice: Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of practice set forth by relevant professional organizations and state licensing boards.
  • Cultural Competence/Humility: Demonstrate cultural humility and sensitivity in working with clients from diverse backgrounds, recognizing and respecting the impact of cultural factors on mental health and healthcare access.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of member interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Skills and Qualifications Preferred

  • Familiarity with integrated healthcare models and collaborative care principles.
  • Experience with conducting initial consultations to collect patient information while delivering warm and welcoming customer service.
  • Experience with conducting mental health diagnostic evaluations, empathically listening to assist patients to explore their thoughts and feelings, and creating treatment plans tailored to their needs.
  • Able to assess and intervene in mental health crises. 
  • Experience in assessing needs for referrals for additional care or services when required, including to other members of Caraway’s team.
  • Willingness to: support the business on weekday mornings EST or evenings 1-5 hours/week and possibly some weekends; schedule medical and/ or therapy visits with providers as needed; greet members and introduce them to Caraway services.

Salary Range 

Licensed LCSW/LMFT/LPCC or similar license: $80-100/hour based on experience.
